Doug Sellers
I love the theatre experience and love sharing it with the audience. My history of theatre started when I was in the sixth grade at Gaston elementary and the High school was doing “You’re A Good Man Charlie Brown” I had the opportunity to run the lights for that show back stage.My light board was a 2”x4” with light switches on it. I thought I was really cool, thanks Bernie. From that point on I was hooked, working all through High School in every production, to working in film for Disney, and Lifetime Television.
Now I spend my available hours giving back to my community in several capacities, along with being the President of HART, I am the President of the Hillsboro Downtown Business Association, Councilman for the Hillsboro Arts Cultural Council and for the Cultural Coalition of Washington County. I also serve on many other panels, boards and committees.
In my spare time I own and operate three businesses in the downtown area with my wife, Dawn. We love living and giving in our home town where we work, play and shop.
